Magic Loop Case Study
An imagined coffee shop born out of my love for cafes and knitting. The "magic loop" in knitting refers to a method of using needles connected by a long wire (’circular needles’) of any length to knit up small, round projects like socks or sleeves – the term is used here to also evoke the magic experienced amongst friends when gathered around a table.
The logo uses script typography to evoke the loops and curves of knitting – both the fabric and motion of moving the two needles. Muted vintage tones are friendly and casual while nodding to the long history of knitting!
